@ikt Thank you very much for your reply, my solution was to make sure the logitech wheel is plugged in while the logitech profiler is being installed. (It must be connected to the pc before the installer for the wheel profiler is set up through the install wizard.)

Hello, I am very grateful for this mod. Problem is, the mod installs and functions as intended with one major issue. My steering wheel is not detected. I've spent multiple days trying to get it to work. I am not bad at installing mods but this one is causing me a lot of stress. I'll do my best to provide as much information as I can in hopes that one of you geniuses out there can help me get my wheel working.
The wheel I am trying to connect is a Logitech G27.
I have installed the Logitech Profiler. The software seems to be working properly. If I go into the Logitech Profiler and do a test, all functions on the G27 Racewheel are working.
So far I have tried,
1.Reinstalling GTA V
2.Reinstalling Logitech Profiler
3.Using an old converter I used to use to turn ps3 controllers into ps4, essentially making it a g29 wheel. The profiler and steam detected a g29 wheel but I had the same error.
4. unchecking that box in steam big picture (generic gamepad support)
5. Reinstalling the entire manual transmission mod.
Other potentially useful info:
1. I Have scripthook5 installed
2. Am i supposed to use OpenIV? I am assuming it has no effect on my issue.
3. Steam can only detect my wheel when i use the g29 converter.
4. I have a mouse and keyboard as well as a scuff dualshock controller plugged into the pc when im playing gta 5
5. When i go into developer options and turn on debug info, on the very right it says no wheel detected.
6. I have no other software using the wheel (such as x360ce)
Please ask for additional information if needed, I am willing to re-try steps if told to do so.
Also willing to talk on discord or skype and even share screen if someone is willing to try and help.
Thanks in advance to everyone who tries to help. Modding gta and using my racewheel was the main inspiration for me to build my pc and make the switch away from console.
