Gameconfig for story mode - Should allow storymode to work without issue while mods are installed.
I recommend trying F7YO's first, All gameconfigs are the same they'll work for some, wont for others especially when it comes down to whether or not it allows the story mode to remain playable.
Disclaimer: It'll work for some, won't for others, Tested with 6 lore-friendly addons 2 HQ addons and 14 vehicle replacement mods,
May not work with large quantity of HQ addons, This works for me but I do not have a huge array of super hq addons and graphics mods so it is untested in that area.
This seems to be the only GameConfig that works for me, None of the latest ones uploaded seemed to allow me to keep all my mods and addons while being able to play the story through without issue, I found with other gameconfigs some of the blips for missions would fail to appear and many of the missions would be rendered unplayable
DO NOT scold me if this does not work for you personally, Like most gameconfigs they'll work for some, wont for others. I know I am not the only one having issues playing story mode with recent gameconfig releases.
Again, This was tested on my own pc with my own setup, I do not have a massive list of addons so I reckon this will work with a low-med amount of addons/mods
The only selling point of this gameconfig is its ability to handle addons, replacement mods and allows me to play the story mode without issue, at least for me and my beta tester, I am hoping it helps someone else out somewhere along the line, hopefully someone who like me is having issue finding a gameconfig to work with story mode

Just started getting into this mods thing. Can you explain how to install it?
I tried this but unfortunately causes CTD on logo screen
@Boorgiesman youtube is your new best friend. gta modding is very time consuming and infuriating...worth it when it works tho. game config files are under mods>update>update.rpf>common>data> . use the program OpenIV to explore the game files, make sure you watch a video or two to get your bearings while using it. make back ups.....expect slow to no response on these comment sections. be patient.....welcome lol
@Boorgiesman Hey, If you're new to this please don't install my gameconfig until you know you need it, Preferably after trying F7YO's since mine is just another one to try if his doesn't work for you and mainly for people looking to play story mode with mods installed without issue
As weirdscience comment proves though this does not work for everyone.
The comment by ThatGuy was fairly sound, Youtube is a useful tool but if you ever get stuck you can always use the forums on gta5mods and there are forums on lspdfr, the reddit community are very helpful and you can also find discord servers for specific mods so you can also seek assistance there.
In regards to anything else, If you'd rather talk to a human than watch a video or just need a hand feel free to drop me a private message on here or reddit, my reddit is the same as the username on here.
@Boorgiesman The basics are to download openiv to start with since thats how you'll be installing most of your mods unless its lspdfr
From there it all depends on what you want to do with your game, how exactly would you like to mod it?
