how to install
Run OpenIV, press Edit mode
Go to GTA V/x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf
Drag & drop files from the rar file provided into vehicles.rpf
Go to GTA V/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

"Launch"
this is the first version of the Highway patrol vehicles, i attempted to accurately represent the highway patrol vehicles
seen in california.
due to limitations, i could not completely go full out on all vehicles, this skin looks best on the stainer (crown vic)
and buffalo (buffalo had limitations)
the hope is in the future when we have more modding support, this mod will be updated to be better across all vehicles instead of just one
with that being stated the other vehicles do not look bad, they just do not look 100% like california highway patrol vehicles
I hope you enjoy this as much as i did creating it, and if you have any suggestions for improvement please tell me in the comments
also i still take any suggestion i can get for retextures, just ask me what you'd like, and ill do it.

@TheBeastFeast thanks if you don't mind i will try to make one based on yours for Sheriff Cruiser. it appears more on highways.

@TheBeastFeast i tried, it seems not enough place for the whole logo, by the way about the Interceptor, you can keep it original
@fly2012cl Yeah, i didn't know if should just keep it the way it is, or change it
@TheBeastFeast if you prefer it look really, maybe you should keep it or change it to a better one(The really one of LAPD for me looks also not so beautiful).
about the "California Highway Patrol" logo not enough place, the only way I kown is to replace "sheriff" of the Sheriff Cruiser, but maybe have to chane the color to black with a trainer.
@fly2012cl Okay. well at this stage im going to keep it as is, modification will come later, this is just the launch all the points have been noted

@TheBeastFeast so does it just replace the default livery or add to the specific ares
@officerfive0 Just edits the default livery at this point, i do not think i will go in to and make it change the locations it spawns.
@sheiffxchancy my bald, it's really more difficult then I think.
Is this remplacing the police stanier or the sherrif stanier ?
@bakamania Police as of right now, expect and update witch will replace the sheriff instead
why replace sheriff if its all white?
Dont replace any LSPD or LSSD but only the North Yankton State Patrol if you can......
@Doctorgta Well i haven't replaced sheriff, that's the thing. and im sure your aware i havent. all things considered im aware of what you did to my files, im not the slightest bit mad about it, you took it and changed a few things. but the least you could of done was at least credit me for the base textures, that's all i ask
