I replaced the standard tyre (and tread) with a Bridgestone Potenza S001 - the official Ferrari 458 tyre. (also increased file quality to 1024 x1024)
This mod is completely my own work.
Installation:
- replace the vehshare.ytd file in two places
1st location: x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/
2nd location: CORRECTED x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/mpbeach/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/mpbeachvehicles.rpf/mpbeachvehicles.rpf/
there can be a conflict when using other modded files in the same folder apparently. I will work on a solution.
If this goes over well I'll offer a custom choice tyre with: Goodyear, Dunlop, etc.
This mod is completely my own work.

great, is there also a way to add motionblur to the tyres?!
oops, doesn't work. if i try to replace on the x64w.rpf file i get openiv error/crash and the game won't start again (luckily backup). the x64e.rpf location did work.
can you do more like this
CORRECTION for DoggyDogg x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/mpbeach/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/mpbeachvehicles.rpf/ mpbeaches.rpf
the location was correct, i do a global-search and openIV finds the specific folder for me. tried several times, the x64w.rpf replacing crashes and the file gets corrupt. Is this the only modded file you have in x64w.rpf? i allready have one there(vehicles_elegy_interior.ytd). strangely, some locations only allow 1 modded file :/
I understand the problem. When combined with other modded files, I've had the same problem elsewhere. Will look into it.
DoggyDogg: I drag and drop the file and don't rebuild. I was told using rebuild could affect stability.
Just want to rule out this possibility.
@vistaron oh yeah, now it works. used a fresh one from a backup and got 2 files modded in x64w.rpf. i believe i used "rebuild" in the first days modding until modders said it's o.k. to simply close&exit :/
those textures can be a pain, sometimes they work ingame, but in the editor the game crashes. or you get a zlib-error after replacing some files.
I can also provide the last screenshot above: it has Elegy GTR emblem and extra modded tyres.
@onemadbean I'll have more soon.
@vistaron k, tyres are fine ingame but the editor starts to freeze after a while when exporting a video. not sure what causes this, but this mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/incendiary-grenade has a similar behaviour (see last comments). removed your mod and export worked again.
