An iteration on a previous ped model I uploaded. Works with enhanced and legacy game versions. All peds should work as a drop-in replacement for any ambient ped by simply renaming them and overwriting. Can probably also be used as add-on.
Assets are taken from in-game models or GTA IV.
Installation:
1. Open GTA V directory in CodeWalker
2. Replace any ambient ped. These may be located anywhere in:
3. If replacing a ped, some peds additionally have props that they sometimes spawn with (e.g. glasses). These follow the naming convention pedname_p.ydd/pedname_p.ytd and are typically located in x64e.rpf/models/cdimages but again, can be pretty much anywhere. In this case, you should also search for and replace these props with the included ones.
4. You can also install as add-on ped with Menyoo or otherwise.

YEESSS!!
NICE!!!!
Looks good and working. I didn't replace any base peds and didn't use addon peds since it always crashes. So instead I put them into a dlc pack.
@SelfRayRayBusiness Yes I do it this way too but didn't want to explain the process in instructions. Maybe i'll bundle in a dlcpack later
@LeetSombrero Yes and I also used a peds.meta for the ped to work.
How do you make DLC peds on Enhanced ?
@CaptWolfy97 Most file types can be converted by opening legacy in CodeWalker, exporting the files to XML, reopening CodeWalker in enhanced, and re-importing the files. A couple of exceptions for ped-related files:
* Currently YDD files' UV#2 is lost in translation by this process. This means no blood maps. Instead, I export in ZModeler directly for "GTAV Enhanced". I'm sure the same applies in Sollumz
* If you created your YMT files using MetaToolkit, CodeWalker can't properly parse the availComp tag on line 7 and it becomes a hex hash. This will crash your game. If you're in this boat, you'll need to get the original data from this line using MetaToolkit (or just based on your knowledge of the components activated on your ped) and then manually edit the YMT XML export before reimporting it.
These are the type of ped mods we need! Just from the use of custom editing alongside assets used from GTA IV or other games as well! I always find these to be way more creative in nature than simply just rigging an already made character. With this mod you appear to have updated the textures making them appear cleaner, added new textures entirely, gave new hairstyles, added new necklaces, and the new faces have facial animations btw that are quite amazing! Very well done with this mod overall and I'm thoroughly impressed! 👏🔥🐺🔥
Just love your addon peds. Hope more are coming soon. Anyway thank you.
