Remember the old days of hijacking heavily protected Ammu-Nation trucks on the highways?
Well, too bad because word of warning: This 'be an old script rescued from never reaching the public, abandoned mid 2018. Was too fun, has too much potential. I have updated just enough content so it works today and you people get to experience it, at least.

Intro
San Andreas is crammed full of people wanting to move their product from one place to another. From teams of Mercenaries heading back to their basements with the spoils of a deal and Lost motorcades securing their daily shipment of armament to Stab City, to bigger players such as MerryWeather or the LSPD furthering their own goals, money and other valuables are finding their way on the roads of the state.
As its usual in this line of work, there are other parties involved, whose interest lie in stopping some of these shipments on their tracks, steal their product, killing those involved or just sabotaging the entire thing.
That’s where you come in.
- Description -
This is an evolution of this.
This script allows you to take on (28+) missions about chasing down enemies, stealing their cargo and returning it somewhere else, basically. The magic of it lies in the variety of mission set-ups, the dynamic AI behavior, and the challenges system, which encourages replayability and more tactical thinking.
Each mission has a set of seven challenges, persistent between playthroughs.
The Challenges
- First Person: Complete the mission while in First Person mode.
- Solo: Don't use bodyguards.
- No Deaths: Don't die.
- No Police: Don't get a Wanted Level in the entire mission.
- Done Under 5 Minutes: Finish the mission under 5 minutes of attacking the target.
- Hardcore: Complete the Mission with Hardcore Mode enabled in the Convoys.ini file. Hardcore Mode disables all blips so you have to be more attentive, but the mission should still inform you enough for it to be fair.
- Criminal Mastermind: Complete the Mission in Hardcore Mode without dying once.
Q: What do I get from completing all seven?
The sense of pride and accomplishment, no less.
Ideally you'd get a special reward, or vehicle, but time and motivation constraints. Still, alone, the challenges still pose a great excuse for you to test your skills with a wide range of twists to the formula (while adding replayability), as each Challenge relies in different skillsets. Do have a try at them, my favourite is Solo/NoDeaths.

You can also create missions yourself as the missions are XML files. No documentation though, no time. Sorry.
However, its really easy to figure out if you open any of 'em. Do try!
How to Play
The script should tell you ingame. From time to time, a Job Opportunity will appear, and you'll be instructed to check your phone. If you do, you're briefed on the Job's general info. If you accept, you'll start that mission and be instructed further.
If you complete the mission you get whatever reward the mission said. Money, weapons, etc. You'll be also told how many Elite Challenges you achieved, including Criminal Mastermind.
You can force Job opportunities by looking at your phone while standing still for a while. The 'quickconvoy' cheat (~ or º key) also forces them.

Special thanks to people like MyCrystals, MG, MonkeyPolice, FatherMCKenzie, Fenton, AlexanderLB for their contributions to the original back in '18. And, sorry to them for not doing anything with the content until today. That's been dickish.
There's still ideas brought up that have not been made into Missions yet. Hopefully they get to see the light in a future update.
Guys, the mod doesn't break the phone, just makes the mission pop up as frequently as possible when staying there with the phone. Just run around while making a call and nothing will disrupt you.
This mod is fantastic and I hope it gets better and better, this is the kind of shit that's missing in this game compared to the previous GTAs, like the paramedic and vigilante missions, this is really good fun
Of course the phone thing can get pretty annoying, so as the others above have said, please make it toggleable or change the way it works (or even just make it so we have to wait for twice/three times as long for it to activate or something instead of what it is now)
Please fix a bug that I get no phone interaction at all when using with some police mods by introducing a new better activation method.
Release your potential, Eddlm! :D
Hi, @Eddlm. I'm enjoying your mod and i recently played the old "Ammu-nation trucks hijacking events". I ended up having some bugs in it so i had do delete it. And then i found this continuation and it worked great, as i installed it. But i can't find any Ammu-nation trucks hijacking missions in this mod, am i doing something wrong? I just miss the Ammu-nation trucks so much, i wanted them to be in game as it shown on the preview video, where you getting an railgun from Ammu-nation truck :(
Do i really need to add the Missions? Because i just know how to add the "Chuff Security Brickade" mod and "More Stockade's Liveries" mod. But the i have no clue how to install these "The Security Pack" mod and "Bolingbroke Penitentiary Vehicles". I really need a introduction, i already tried to do i like the other two mods but then it crashes when i start Story Mode. I really need help.
@DarkGalil Same, I haven't figured it out either. I was also wondering if the reskins are necessary.
Im getting a bug "unhandled script" convoy.main any fix for that?
I deleted this because,
- Can't end mission (No key to end mission blip and everything stuck)
- Died while mission game stuck at loading
This look great, and I have a question. I cant see a way to control how often this missions happens, so I wonder how often will this missions pop up?
Probably like the rest of you I just want a script to work out of the box... Does anyone know if this works with out having to install 4 other mods just to make it work???
Is there a way to make it NOT use the phone but a button instead?
Can you put the source code on github so when can fix the issues and develop the mod?
Amazing, wish this amazing mod can be expanded more.
Can't end the mission unfortunately, nothing happens.
need update pls
It works, I love your work. It would me cool if phone won't just closing by himself.
i tried looking at the phone while standing still, typing quickconvoy in the command menu but it just says new job opportunity check your phone for details .im looking at my phone but nothing happens it just sends the same message can any1 help?
Very good mod, but completely breaks the phone.. uninstallled :(
The missions themselves are handled so well that's it's genuinely shocking that the way you get and accept them is so incredibly annoying. Every other mod author makes it so that you just have to call a contact in your phone to enter the same sorts of mod-relevant menus, so I don't know why you couldn't do the same. As it stands this mod makes your phone incredibly cumbersome and tedious to use, to the point that unless you only want to do these sorts of missions exclusively there is no good reason to have this mod installed. Very disappointing.
Eddlem, it is a great mod, adding more to the game adding to it's richness (literally)
i really enjoy this mod, it is great.
There is 1 issue that i keep running into, when receiving phone calls or just looking at emails in game, the phone will close itself, meaning i can't listen to important story dialog.
Could you make story related dialog, via phone, take priority, or even make it so that we have to call Lester and select from convoyy or stockade, which would work very well. it would still be immersive as well as fix the current ongoing issue.
this would bring this mode from a solid 3 star to a 5.
If you get this done, there may well be a donation for you ;)
