This is a script that makes weather changes happen more often. In the original game, weather changed very rarely, sometimes only once in a few hours.
INSTALLATION
drop DynamicWeather.dll and WeatherConfig.ini(if present) in your scripts folder.

- Hurricane Weather
- Added a new hurricane weather type with increased wind speed and rain intensity to simulate hurricane conditions.
- Introduced lightning and thunder effects during hurricanes.
- Added a hurricane alert notification system that warns players of incoming hurricanes with a message sent to their in-game phone.
- Note: The hurricane feature is in alpha and will be improved in future updates.
- Menu Enhancements
- Weather Transition Duration
- Added a new menu option for setting weather transition duration, allowing users to select transition times from 1 to 10 seconds.
- The transition duration setting is saved to the configuration file and applied immediately upon change.
- Descriptive Menu Items
- Updated all weather-related menu items with detailed descriptions to inform players about the effects and probabilities of each weather type.
- Added descriptive text to toggle options, such as notifications and festive props, for better clarity.
- Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Resolved Initialization Errors
- Fixed an issue with duplicate keys in the dictionary during initialization, which was causing exceptions.
- Performance Enhancements
- Optimized the logic for transitioning between weather conditions to improve stability and reduce the chance of crashes during rapid weather changes.
- Reduced the frequency of lightning and thunder during hurricanes to prevent performance issues and potential crashes.

This mod is something I was looking for a long time.
Some suggestions for the next update (if possible):
- A longer weather transition (up to 30 seconds)
- A flexible interval for weather changes instead of a fixed interval so the weather does not change after the same fix time (e.g. somewhere between 5-30 minutes)
- Random weather at game start
- Another notification logo (e.g. Weazel news)
- Friendly announcements (e.g. "It´s gonna be a beautiful day with a lot of sun" instead of "....be prepared")
These are just suggestions, the mod is awesome anyways. Thanks for sharing this!

the flexible thing is already there just check the .ini file there u can adjust the weather changing time.
- the logo icons is also planned already for the next update with a custom one from Dynamic Weather.

Hey, what I meant with flexible is: A random timeframe within a min and max time for weather, e.g. min weather time 10 minutes, max weather time 20 minutes and the weather changes within this timeframe randomly, sometimes after 12 minutes, sometimes after 18 minutes and so on. Now when the change is set to 10 minutes, it will always change after 10 minutes, then after 10 minutes again and so on. I don´t mind it, it would just be more dynamic. Now if its extrasunny you have a chance to get extrasunny again so the weather can be the same 20 minutes, that´s ok for me. This mod is truly awesome.

ofc this would be more dynamic thats for sure. also ancheck preventing same weather again would be good then.
for now just use yhe key to change the weather if it appears twice. thanks for thr info, will definitely come on the todo list!

Appreciate it, man. Something I noticed after playing a few hours now: The weather should be more persistent. I experienced a "vanilla" transition over the script. E.g. when it´s raining, the game naturally transfers into the actual real game weather after some while (with smooth transition without noticing directly - sun slightly comes out raining goes into clearing and then stops). When the scripted weather transition kicks in, it suddenly starts raining and scripted transition starts. I think you may not notice with 30000 milisecs (5 mins) but with higher value (60000/10 mins or 90000/15 mins), this is happening.

Hey man, sorry for spamming but I recently encountered another bug.
I was in Thunderstorm and after transition to the next weather it keept raining (but without raindrops) and the streets have become extremely slippery so I couldnt drive anymore. Had to exit the game, nothing helped.
@darkblue hey, no probelm, actually i mentioned this issue myself too, and i already find out why this is happening, actually the rain force is to heavy which means game engine makes the roads to slippery so we cant drive anymore, even changing erather manually havent fixed it yet. Also the rain on the ground shows that its raining after transition but there is no rain coming down which is weird. And yes the only solution is to restart the whole game and turn off thunder allowed in the menu. But i find the problem and the next update definetly fixes it! :)
Also you have to wait for the update, since the owner of this mod is not avaiable atm and i cant upload anything since is on his account, i can only fix and add things nothing else the rest @Kaizzzz has to do.
For now, disable thunderstorm allowed in the allowed tba on the menu to prevent this happening, till the update come.

@kaizzzz Nice during the first minutes... once it rains, it never stops, even when the weather changes to sunny smog or clear, it keeps on raining. Tried to force the change, but nothing happens, I have to restart the game each time....
@Hazekware hurricane weather is still in alpha and has bugs, and you could also scroll up the comments and look at thr todo list on githuv
