Features
Needle sweeps once like turning on the ignition after entering car.
The needle wobbles at redline and assist icons blink when active.
Comes with driving aids you can toggle with numpad keys (or disable car control in menu):

- Smooth Engine Off Glide: The needle now slides gently back to zero instead of jumping.
- Burnout Mode: Hold accelerate & brake at very low speed and all assists will be disabled temporarily so you can spin the tires freely.
- Refined TCS & Launch Control: Sport mode allows light wheelspin for an aggressive feel. Aggressive mode gives maximum grip.
- Manual Engine Trigger: If you use other realism mods that handle ignition, you can turn off manual start option.
- Cleaner Menu & Logging: Menu labels are now simpler.

Amazing mod, been using it for hours and loving the FH5 vibe in GTA V. Here's some feedback from extensive testing that might help with future updates:✅ What works great:
Needle sweep on ignition feels authenticABS/TCR/LC blinking indicators are a nice touchRedline wobble is satisfyingOverall FH5 aesthetic is spot on🐛 Bugs / Issues found:
1. Windows Indonesian/European locale (decimal separator = comma) causes the mod to misread decimal values from FSS.ini when the game auto-saves via the F11 menu. Values like Global_Scale = 1.95 get saved as 1,95, which breaks scaling completely — making the gauge fullscreen-sized.2.The F11 menu auto-saves on close and overwrites manually edited decimal values with the locale's comma format. I suggest adding a locale-invariant INI parser (forcing a dot as the decimal separator regardless of the Windows locale).
"The F11 slider menu looks clean, but showing the actual numeric value while adjusting (like "1.95" next to the slider) would be extremely helpful. Currently, users have to close the menu, open FSS.ini, and guess what value the slider saved — which is especially problematic since the auto-save uses the locale's comma format that breaks decimal parsing."
3.The Needle_StartAngle default value doesn't place the needle at 0 RPM correctly on 1920x1080 resolution. I had to manually change it to -208 to get the proper 0 position.
4.There is no documentation on valid value ranges for Gauge_Size, Needle_Size, and Global_Scale — having this would be helpful for manual tuning without using the F11 menu.
💡 Feature suggestion:
Custom RGB color support for the gauge ring, gear indicator, and redline zone via FSS.ini — something like:ini[COLORS]
Gauge_R = 255
Gauge_G = 255
Gauge_B = 255
Redline_R = 255
Redline_G = 23
Redline_B = 68This would allow a highly accurate Forza Horizon 4/5 color scheme (white ring, orange R gear, red-pink redline).

@Mclpone Thanks for the testing. The comma decimal locale bug is my #1 priority right now and for the needle start angle, i’m confused because the default start angle works on standard 1080p so it might be a Windows DPI scaling conflict.

@saliherol Make sure LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll is in your "scripts" folder if not then the menu won't open.

Mod is awesome everything works great and a lot of features but if possible can u try to add the skill chain that appears on top like forza

@saliherol for the invisible speed digits, the most common reason is, coordinates, opacity or scale setting.
Check these values inside the FSS.ini?
Check Speed_X and Speed_Y to around 1656 and 890.
Speed Alpha around 255.
Speed Scale around 1.4.
Speed Spacing around 31.Also, toggling KM/H & MPH once in the main menu sometimes forces the speed text to refresh.

@5modsdabest The skill chain idea is interesting and it's a bigger feature since it needs to detect driving events and track a scoring system. Not something i can add quickly, but i'll keep it in mind for a possible future update or a separate one.

Love your Speedometer but I would like to have it near the map and the adjustment limit can't reach near the map

@Slick_Nick Sure, I'll do that. I'm currently working on the v1.2 build with some fixes and new features. Once it's been tested and verified, I'll increase the axis limit to allow movement beyond the current x axis limit.

Hi, I don't know if it's my fault or what but I installed everything correctly, the menu works but the speedometer doesn't show up? I installed everything in the correct path. Or do I need to like add the car name manually so the speedometer can show up because right now I'm using addon cars, or is this for vanilla cars only?

@Amirgu The speedometer should work with all land vehicles like cars, trucks, motorcycles. You don't need to manually add any car names.
Three things to check:
1. Make sure the speedometer isn't disabled in the menu. If it is, simply enable it.
2. There's a chance the speedometer might be positioned off-screen if your screen resolution or scaling settings are different. Try resetting the position in the FH5 Theme menu.
3. It could be a conflict with another mod either a graphics mod or a script mod might be causing the issue.
If you could elaborate a bit more, it'll be easier to pinpoint the problem. Also, you can join the Discord server and create a ticket I can help you there since screenshots of your mod settings might be needed.
