Quiet Morning: 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM
Morning Rush: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Lunch Rush: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Evening Rush: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Quiet Evening: 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Increases traffic density during morning and evening rush hours:
- Reduced densities in rain and snow conditions.
- Increased densities in sunny weather.
Weather-Based Density Multipliers:
- Introduces vehicle grip adjustments during snowy and rainy conditions to enhance realism.
Dynamic Weather Effects:
- Provides an option to disable police blips on the map for added immersion.
Realistic Police:
- Allows real-world PC time synchronization with GTA V, reflecting real-time in-game. Note that enabling this feature will also sync traffic density to real-world time.
Enhanced Realism:
Optimized For
Versions
V1.1.2 (Bug Fixes & Enhancements)
Automatic Hazard Lights Activation on Impact: The hazard lights now engage automatically when a vehicle's health drops below 300 due to a collision. They will flash continuously for 30 seconds to enhance visibility and safety before deactivating ( We will be working on this more in upcoming updates).
Code Optimization and Bug Fixes: Removed redundant and unnecessary code to streamline functionality and resolve issues, ensuring smoother and more reliable performance.
Police Mobile Offence: This feature was removed due to the emergence of bugs during extended gameplay sessions. After a 6-hour testing session in GTA V, issues began to surface, prompting the decision to ensure smoother, uninterrupted performance.
There is no need to delete both INI files located in the Configs and Backups folders in this version.
V1.1.1 (Bug & Version Fixes)
Weather Fixes: Previously, the weather effects would trigger during rain or snow; however, when transitioning to any other weather condition, the effects persisted incorrectly. This issue has been resolved to ensure that weather effects are applied appropriately based on the current conditions.
Code Master Version Checker: While the version checker was accurately reporting the current version, it did not update the files upon the release of a new update. This functionality has been improved to ensure that version files are correctly updated with each new release.
Police Mobile Phone Offence: This feature has been temporarily removed to address a recently identified issue. Further testing and refinements are underway to ensure optimal performance before reintroducing it in a future release.
⚠️ We strongly recommend that all users delete both INI files located in the Configs and Backups folders to avoid potential errors.
V1.1.0 (Enhancements & User Configuration)
Enhanced Realism: Integrate real-time synchronization with the in-game clock, providing a true-to-life experience. Players will receive a one-star wanted level if caught using a mobile phone while driving, and police blips can be toggled through the INI configuration, offering complete control over immersion settings.
Weather-Based Density: Traffic and pedestrian densities automatically adjust based on weather conditions, with specific multipliers for sunny, rainy, and snowy scenarios to reflect real-life environmental influences and activity patterns.
Expanded Time Intervals for Density Management: Density adjustments have been made for increased traffic during lunch rush (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) and quieter hours from 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM, enriching gameplay through realistic time-of-day effects.
Dynamic Weather Effects: Adverse weather conditions, such as rain and snow, now impact vehicle handling, reducing grip and providing an authentic driving experience that adjusts to environmental conditions.
User Configuration: layers can easily customize settings through the INI file, enabling a personalized experience. Additionally, a backup of the INI configuration is now saved in `scripts\Code-Master\Configs\BackUps` for quick recovery of preferences.
Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements: Enhanced density transitions minimize lag during peak traffic events, optimizing overall performance and ensuring smoother gameplay.- Removed key areas (locations) as this was causing poor performance / lag.
V1.0.0 (Initial Release)
Ped & Traffic Density: Basic functionality for increasing traffic and pedestrian density based on in-game time.
Beta Release: First beta version of the script. User feedback is appreciated to help refine the feature set.

V1.1.2 - There is no need to delete both INI files located in the Configs and Backups folders in this version.
@INSTAS4MKA Yes, it does.
@dimedius Thank you for your question! The police configuration section is designed to be toggled on(true) or off(false), allowing you to enable or disable police features as needed. While police blips are set to true by default to align with the standard game settings, you can easily configure any additional police features within the script to suit your preferences.
I understand your interest in dynamic density based on time without the policing elements. However, to maintain flexibility for all users, I won’t be removing the police configuration options from the ini file, as some may wish to utilize these features now or in the future.
If you have any further suggestions or need assistance with configurations, please feel free to reach out!
V1.1.1 - We strongly recommend that all users delete both 'VeloCity.ini' files located in the Configs and Backups folders to avoid potential errors.
@BerkshireMods oh thanks, I'll check it out (do apologize not used to mods creating the necessary config files).
@BerkshireMods yeah It works pretty good, nice mod 👍
@INSTAS4MKA Glad to hear it’s working well for you! Thanks for the feedback—enjoy the mod! 👍
@BerkshireMods Haha, the time based density is great but weather based density is entirely unique 😅😅 Thank you so much for allowing us realistic and dynamically adjusting densities on the go without having to change gameconfig 😊😊😊
By the by, since you mentioned Traffic Control System at your future plan, would it be ok if you take a look at cars doing illegal turns at Red Lights? It doesn't bother me on it's own but they t-bone me because I wait at red light at left/right lane since they are considering it as a green light and thinking me as blocking green light 🥺
I found bCanTurnRightOnRedLight value in junctions.xml but it only covers right turns 🥺
@MissySnowie It's you again commenting on another script of mine (Haha), Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying the time-based and weather-based density features. It's great to know that these additions are enhancing your gameplay experience! 😊
I appreciate your feedback regarding the Traffic Control System future feature. I understand how frustrating it can be to get T-boned by cars making illegal turns at red lights. I'll definitely look into this issue and see what can be done to address those illegal turns. Your mention of the bCanTurnRightOnRedLight value is helpful, and I'll explore options for left turns as well.
Thanks again for your input, and stay tuned for future updates!
@BerkshireMods It truly deserves a compliment from heart 😊😊 And thank you so much as well for considering my idea, hopefully it won't give you too much trouble 😊😊😊
@MissySnowie JSYK I did weather based densities first 😁https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/49130-dynamic-density/
@meimeiriver Ive removed Performance Advisory
@BerkshireMods In that case, I Approved it again. :) Like I said, actual code needs to be stolen for your mod to stay Rejected. Otherwise credits to his Performance Advisory was required. Now that you removed it altogether, all is good again.
@AstroBurgers Thank you too for being an idea entrepreneur 😅🌹
@meimeiriver Much appreciated 😊!
cool mod. When installing it, it eliminates dirt from my vehicles. Does anyone else have this problem?
@alannissangtr This script doesn’t remove dirt from vehicles under normal conditions. However, during certain weather types—Rain, Thunder, Snow, Blizzard, and Christmas—it increases vehicle dirt levels to enhance realism. I’ll look further into this to be sure, but as of now, dirt still appears on my vehicles even when the weather is set to Extra Sunny.
@BerkshireMods, Does this affect traffic on roads where there wouldn't be a constant flow like the ones near the lighthouse, behind the 24/7 in Harmony and especially both ends of the 'broken bridge road' on the coast of Paleto Bay? It would also be nice to not have cops spawn from roads in mad numbers like there were 'doughnut shops' at every end where there wouldn't be any.
@iammistahwolf Thank you for your interest in our VeloCity script! This script is designed to provide a more immersive experience by adjusting traffic flow according to time, location, and environmental conditions. The script is tailored to ensure that rural areas, such as the roads near the lighthouse, Harmony’s outskirts, and the isolated coastal paths around Paleto Bay, experience lower traffic densities. Conversely, urban areas see higher density during peak hours, with multipliers customizable via the INI configuration.
I haven’t modified police behavior yet, but I appreciate the feedback. I'll consider looking into this feature in future updates, as it's on my list of potential enhancements once my current tasks are complete.
I don't know if this has been asked, but how is this different from modifying the popcycle?
