@NimbleCentipede export all the carcol files using openiv then import to the tool, use the scan for duplicate function to scan which vehicle has duplicate ID then you change the ID
@Tinmar if the carcol.meta can't be import then the error will show you which line and column is the mistake at
@ImNotMentaL Very nice idea and tool thx alot! But i dont understand how i can use it i have 200 add on cars and some become untunable and i have more that 200 carcols how can i check them all?

can you plese tell me how to use it
@ImNotMentaL Can you make one for light settings and siren settings IDs?
i dont even know how to use wtf
@Cutgoodyjordan export the Carcols files with OpenIV and import it to the VKIDTool then what i did was to select Edit then scan for duplicate. it can only show you the error you woud have to edit the carcols in notepad++
@MITRI where exactly could i get them and thanks for reply
@Cutgoodyjordan when you creat the car add-on folder and you compile each car in to one dlc. In foldername/dlc.rpf/data extract the carcols.meta with openiv and follow what I said in the comment I made before
@MITRI thanks for reply but i forgot im trying to do this with fivem will it still work

Yes! Yes! For the modkit ID, I also using Java coding a programing to change modkit ID(very convenience), but i still dont known witch ID has taken, so this Script is very good for me! Thanks a lot!
Veri gud,i wanna add more cars,but they arent tunables,now they are,tank u
@ImNotMentaL I have over 200 addons installed in the game. Is it possible to collect all vehicles' carcols with one click?
Although I could not make a complete list with all carcols.meta files of the game in the .exe, this mod helped me fix a problem that's been in my installation from the first add-on cars I added. Gauntlet Hellfire got its tuning parts back and all I did was make a search for "carcols.meta" in OpenIV and open them one by one to check for identical numbers. As soon as I found a car (it was a pontiac) that shared the same modkit # (377 in gauntlet4 case), I deleted the specific dlcpack to spare myself of any further fuss and the problem was corrected. Your mod helped point me in the right direction and a 2 year problem that seemed unsolvable was solved in 20 minutes. Thank you for this great initiative!
I opened open iv and went to the uptade x64 dlcpacks location and changed the carcols.meta of the modded car (for example, I made the carcols.meta from 225 to 600) and after the process I did while the modified parts of the vehicle were there before, how can I get the modkit id of the modded vehicles?
can you tell me i will change it properly
@ImNotMentaL everything is ok but how do i change the id? When I changed the ID in the carcols meta, the car's modification options were gone.
🔥🔥🔥
@ImNotMentaL Explain how you find which carcol.meta out of 200+ contains the parsing error, something this tool doesn’t account for.
