@badrar Would you like to see my idea too?
this mod already exists - https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/bridgestone-tyres
@chang63 yes, i will have it done by the end of this week
@DennyFrontier I will have a look into it, it could be possible, though if it needs a fragment edit, you may need to wait for OpenIV to release fragment editing. But the idea seems relevant to my mod and might implement it into future updates. Thanks
@artkrime i suspect it is because each wheel is unique to the vehicle, and each vehicle has its own wheel model (mostly, but not all). So using texture files will cost more memory to process when just one texture can be used and achieve a better performance result. I'm just waiting for a model editor and i will get working on a major update. Might take a while to edit all the models, but ill get it done.
@artkrime http://postimg.org/image/gk7tggpit/ go there, and see what i mean
@artkrime i get that, but no, there are no embedded textures. I've already tried a few things, the thing i was trying to say is that the atomic logo itself, is not a texture. it is part of the model itself.
@defiant great i'll make one
@artkrime yes but it isn't a texture, it is part of a fragment which is not editable.. the atomic logo which you see in-game is not a texture. In order to change the logo, the fragment would need to be edited and possibly remodeled, depending how OpenIV decide to render the model
@Billy @Cri-28 update is going to be a huge step up from this version.. Possibly even much bigger.
Expect the update to roll out within +-3 to 4 days if not sooner. Again, Thanks for making the effort to share your thoughts, always appreciated
