@CHR - 15 Thank you for responding. It made me want to give it another chance. I want to sincerely apologize, because it does indeed work and I think you did a real good job with the map. Instructions will be good for those new to modding that don't know exactly how to install dlcpacks yet. You making the folder and having the dlc.rpf inside so people can just drag and drop the folder into their mods folder dlcpacks is that little bit easier for the user, even though creating a new folder and naming it isn't difficult at all. As for the location, originally I entered the coordinates that you posted on 3/19/2019 in CW to locate it so I could find it in game, and those coords took me under the map. I knew it wasn't under the map because every prop in the ymap was above the map. The thing that made me think that the mod didn't work in SP is that CodeWalker was not loading anything in but the trees, and from previous comments on the need to rename the ydr, I assumed that it just wasn't working in SP so I just quit trying.
Even after installing it, I went into CW, enabled the dlcpack, then entered your coords and there is nothing there, and I'm under the map with your coords, which makes no sense for a track to be under the map. Funny thing is, if you enter coords from a prop in one of the ymaps, the coords are totally different from what you posted in the comments, You have most things up in the sky. And you should change the names of everything so they aren't so generic and possibly used by something else possibly vanilla. That's not the end user's job. You need to fix a lot of things and then reupload it.
@CHR-15 Did you do any testing of this in SP, because I can't get it to work in SP. It won't even load in CW for me to be able to locate it to make 100% sure it is working. You didn't even put the dlc.rpf in a folder, which is easy enough to do and name it what the dlcpack should be named. You need to make sure your mod works in SP before releasing it on this site. This site is a SP modding site, not a FiveM site. People shouldn't have to do the work to get it to work, that's your responsibility. And adding a pic of where it is located on the map would be better than posting coords, again making potential users of the mod have to do more work to find it. Like possibly other people, I don't use anything in game where I can just enter the coords and teleport there. And I know how to install addons, so that isn't the issue. I could get it to work myself but I shouldn't have to.
@BanksyXI. Please do not use the interior tag for a mod made with a ymap. That tag is intended for Mlo interiors which are the only type that are recognized by the game as actual interiors.
You should also give credits for whatever programs or tools you used to make the mod.
@Dis-connected I 100% agree with you that the instructions for this mod are bad, copying the update folder from this mod into the mods folder will remove anything you had in that folder before. @Aige You need to correct the instructions for people new to modding so they don't mess up the rest of their game by trying to install this mod and following your instructions. It's a pretty sweet car mod though.
@NikoChico65 I don't personally know anyone else that makes custom stuff from scratch. I'm sure there are people out there though. What were you wanting the statue to be, do you have a pic of it?
@Reaper_Gaming I agreed with it needing a paint booth, so instead of a lift with a peyote on it that you couldn't do anything with I changed it. Also added a custom wash station in the back lot and added some more stuff to the area. Let me know what you think of it.
@SLTH Really good job on the house, I like where you placed it. Not many mods deal with this area. It was kind of a pain to find, if you would add a screen shot of the location on the map in game that would help people out a lot. The only real issue with the mod is with the rotation of the stool in the living room which causes the ped that spawns on it to be clipping through the wall into the bathroom. You could either rotate the stool 180 degrees or if you want to remove the ped spawning on it, you put the flag 18612259 on the stool in the CEntityDef. Also the blinds for the main big window in the kitchen need to be fixed so you see them from the exterior. Also none of the windows have glass in them, looks kind of odd.
@raburs Not all MLOs are messed up with MP maps enabled, my released mlo isn't, although there are quite a few out there that do. To answer you wondering why they are messed up, most will be messed up if they are in a location where R* did edits. My released mlo and a few of the private ones I've done I've had to heavily modify and test using MP maps enabled, it isn't as easy like when the location isn't touched by other MP maps.
