Introducing the 1999 Vapid Thunder brought to you by Vapid's Special Tuning Division (STD). What does this have to offer over the regular Sadler you may ask? Well, only a big a** supercharger paired with vapid's Modual 5.4l engine! The folks at STD also Widened the wheelbase and body for extra style. They also lowered it on a dominator suspension system, ready for any racetrack. Don't forget the dual exhaust pipes and the chin spoiler!
Installation:
1.Put the Thunder folder in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/
2.Go to update.rpf/common/data and find dlclist.xml
3.right-click dlclist.xml and click edit
4.Add this line (remove the commas) "dlcpacks:\thunder\"
5.Save it
If done correctly, the mod should work in game. Spawn it manually using the name "thunder"
What's new (update 1.1.2):
Revamped handling entirely (brakes and steers way better, better top speed/acceleration, etc)
What's new (update 1.1.1):
Fixed corrupt model
What's new (update 1.1):
Shortened Bed
Added proper collisions
Changed Rims
Added LODS
Fixed Extra 4 (roll cage) Clipping Issues
Raised Suspension
Tweaked Handling
Fixed Front Right wheel position
NOTICE:
I may not update this for a while because I'm having issues exporting models from Zmodeler now. I'll be sure to update when this issue gets resolved.
Bugs:
Windows do not break (I know how to fix this, but the model glitches out in game)
Thunder badges are hard to read (too small/dark)
Extra 2 (spoiler) has a buggy texture
Extra 4 (roll cage) was accidentally assigned under the Extra 2 dummy
Minor interior flaws
Plans:
Enlarge Badges
Fix Extra 2 (spoiler)
Take Extra 4 (roll cage) out of Extra 2 (spoiler) dummy (when my exporting bug gets fixed)
Make windows breakable
Add tuning parts (they're extras for now)
Add Flareside Variant
Change Wheels

I try the cobalt to but it's bug car lol the wheel not Work in gta V it's strange @AdvancedShoe
@VinceToretto xD
@Bob322 I'll straight pipe it and lower it a tiny bit
@AnarchyBlues Tbh I'm not a big fan of the wheels either, they're just placeholders for not until I find wheels that resemble the wheels on the real SVT Lighting (i know they're somewhere in the game files)
@AdvancedShoe Wow what an improvement!
Good job!
I love your descriptions!
@rastakilla Thanks!
@AdvancedShoe So what was that bug? ZM sometimes exports with wheel bug, without any changes you re-export again and it's all good. This already happen to me now like 2 times out of 10 exports. Most of the time wheels are completely missing, once i had them spinning around some different axis.
@advancedShoe Thanks its working now
@tall70 When in Zmodeler, the model is fine and everything is in the correct place but when I export and load in game, the model glitches out and the bodyshell spins all over the place, the wheels spin everywhere, things turn with the wheels that aren't supposed to. It's an absolute mess. That's what's stopping me from updating it right now because whenever I make the slightest edit and I export and run in game, the model bugs out. I've tried exporting multiple times but it doesn't help.
@hummer3524 You're welcome
@tall70 In game it also doesn't have collision and when you get in it, it won't start.
@AdvancedShoe I had something like this also happening once for different reason. I had one solid chassis collision, than redone it like Sadler has it, with multiple bed parts and it got fixed. What i don't understand, that some trucks i can have with solid one piece and some have to have multiple, otherwise it glitches. Another similar issue i had with accidental wrong compounding of some part, which got me all kinds variety of glitches. I believe i pushed L0 button in same time when i compound.....Maybe you just have to notice some stupid accidental problem.
@tall70 Right
@AdvancedShoe I've had stuff spinning that shouldn't be spinning thing too, everything a mess. It turned out for me, I had to copy the yft, rename it _hi.yft, and drag it into a patchday so it would overwrite the vanilla vehicle completely. I always copy paste and rename so I have all 4 files to replace the vanilla vehicle.
@Namie243 Okay, I'll give it a try later. Thank you for the suggestion.
@tall70 why haven't you made the short lspd granger yet?
@Slimslugga713 not much time for additional things and I don't have much use for it so I didn't put it in priority. I might do it but if you convince somebody else it's unlocked, feel free.
Great mod. I would say first person view needs to be fixed, overall this mod works like a charm.
i'm gonna guess this mod is based of the ford lightning :)
Great mod for for what it is, although I have noticed some slight issues. Collisions with destructible objects (lamp posts, transformer boxes) only seem to happen at the tailgate, the rest of the car just clips through the object until the tailgate collides with it. The first person alignment needs a little work, currently the character sits a little high, basing off of the placement of the hands.
Oh, nice, if only it was an actual 99 Ford Lightning SVT would be 10 times better.
I have a texture issue with Extra 2: https://imgur.com/a/skiff4L
