Awesome Main Character Cars 1.2

I thought the main characters' cars in GTAV left something to be desired. Sure they're fun to drive, but not enough fun for how much you have to use them. This mod aims to fix that. All three main vehicles for Michael, Franklin, and Trevor have been modded to be the awesome death machines I believe they should be. These cars will now plow through traffic like it's not even there, and leave a wake of destruction in their path.

Installation Instructions:
Step 1: Download AMCC.zip and OpenIV 2.6+ (If you don't already have it)
Step 2: Install/Open OpenIV
Step 3: Extract AMCC.zip anywhere you like
Step 4: In OpenIV, open your update folder, then open update.rpf
Step 5: Once update.rpf is open, navigate to common/data
Step 6: You will see handling.meta in this folder, enable edit mode in OpenIV
Step 7: Right click handling.meta and press replace
Step 8: In the file selection window that appears, navigate to the folder you extracted AMCC.zip to and click on the handling.meta in that folder.
Step 10 (Optional): Replace vehicles.meta in update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5
Step 11: Press File - Rebuild
Step 12: After it is done rebuilding, you're finished! Have fun!
*NOTE* To have the Duke o' Death be awesome as well (Credit to Pedge for asking me to upload this) you need to replace the handling.meta and vehicles.meta in the file x64w.rpf. The paths are:
x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/spupgrade/dlc.rpf/handling.meta
and
x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/spupgrade/dlc.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.meta
The cars will explode after about 10-20 explosions near them if you don't replace vehicles.meta as well. If you do replace it, your car will be able to run into/get run over/get shot by tanks (or anything else for that matter) and it will not blow up!
*KNOWN BUG*
This is the only "bug" I know of with this mod. If you try to hit a train head on with any of the cars, the game will crash.
Have fun!

@ Splurkey
Any link to that mod?
@Splurkey Yeah I'm feeling pretty excited to try that now. :P
@Ceano try searching it, i don't remember the name of the mod.
@ Splurkey
Think i found the mod... https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/replace-character-vehicles
can you help me make the duke of death plow through anything? Just need the handling mod.
@Pedge actually i already made that a while ago, just need to upload :)
also @EL_Greco i have been toying with a different way to replace them using the meta files instead of a script/asi files. still working out the bugs though, will upload if i get it working correctly
@Bladez1992 Ok
@Pedge uploaded and awaiting approval on the Duke o' Death. Just redownload the mod after it gets approved, included in this mod instead of making a whole new one
@Bladez1992 I always had a car or two with this powers in all of my car packs for GTA IV. I was intended to do similar thing but you already did this for us. I have no words to thank you. God bless you.
TY man!
@kizacudo & @Pedge you're welcome guys!
:D I mean with a name like Duke o' Death you shouldn't fall apart like a tandem bicycle with Gabe Newell and Kevin Smith on it.
I just did DOD as a test cause im multitasking, dont you think its kinda light, the handling is flies alll over but pushes stuff out of the way. I like heavy tanky stuff :D
@Bladez1992 Have you ever thinking about the script mod, which would enable handling like this for all cars that we as players drive. There were some handling improvement tweaks for GTA IV. Are you capable or know someone who could do it?
@kizacudo yeah i've thought about that, but i'm rather invested in my other mod at the moment. this one is bug-free and complete aside from the train issue, which is a game engine limitation that nobody can change.
@Bladez1992
could you please upload a text file containing only the changes to the handling.meta that are required for this mod? The reason I ask is that I would like to be able to use this mod at the same time as other mods that also require modding the handling.meta.
Either way, Thanks. Your work is appreciated.
I can't seem to find x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/spupgrade/dlc.rpf/handling.meta
and
x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/spupgrade/dlc.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.meta now.
IS their something different in the files now? ty
What do I need to edit to turn off 4 wheel steering?
nm, I found it. Change the second from right digit of strHandlingFlags to 0 instead of 8.
