Finally! A helicopter crazy enough to handle the loose canon!
Originally designed for all of the Los Santos Police Department, the Police Maverick Based on the EuroCopter AS-350B, the Police Maverick is the offspring of the frogger and the Maverick, which combines the froggers Maneuverability and Speed into a package Law Enforcement officers, and Hospital Pilots can't seem to get enough of! It's dual sided rappel beams means that you can perform quick deployments into the action, or maintain the tactical high-ground with up-to 2 rear-passenger seats.
With a, and co-pilot-mounted camera, and a re-designed aerodynamic cabin, chases end faster, and rescues are completed quicker making this the ultimate investment!
Keep in mind that due to the increased weight due to the optimized turbo engines, auto rotations, are less likely to be successful without damaging the aircraft, HOWEVER, with proper training, you'll leave scratched up, but alive!
So if you're in charge of a hospital, or police station, and you want to improve the capabilities of your aerial operations, look no further than the Police Maverick!

Do you maybe have any other mods that you have installed that are keeping you from being able to leverage the heli?
Like other handling mods, or control mods, or controller mods by chance?
@DJSatrox Haven't tried myself but did you wait a little bit to let the rotors spin fast enough?
SkylineGTR did something similar to that for his F35 plane. When at VTOL mod, it takes about half a minute for the plane to actually able to take off once start the engines.
@Wetter42 might have did the same too since normally it takes about 2 minutes for a helicopter to be able to take off.
Actually not - unfortunately, I don't know how to modify that value. It doesn't seem to be in vehicles.meta or handling.meta so I'm not too sure. If I knew though, I'd definitely make the value more realistic (meaning longer, LOL).

Looove the handling mod, was hard to learn, but when I did, flying this thing became so satisfying :D Having so much fun. One quip, tho, any idea what could be done about the AI? They can't fly this helicopter for sh**. This makes police chases way too easy. :D
Finally, someone made a helicopter version that matches what I had in mind. The previous PS3 version didn’t feel good in terms of handling. Now it feels much more realistic. Please make the other ones as well!
@DirtSpray Yeah, that one is challenging. I belieeeeve there's a way to make changes to the reference the AI is using, but I haven't tested that. Give me some time to research! Glad you're enjoying! Check out some of the other heli handling mods in the meantime! :D (including the heli tutorials2 :D)
@2EZ4RNDI Glad to scratch your heli itch! This mod balances being able to push each heli to it's limits while also allowing you to make small realistic movements. I got a bunch others for buzzard, hunter, annihl, and a few others with more coming soon! :D
@Wetter42 Already checked them, thank you for your hard work, never thought I had a pilot in me :D The heli and plane handlings are amazing!!! Went from flkying being a chore to me flying pointlessly around the map for hours, never getting bored. Please, do keepp the handlings coming, would like to see every aircraft have realistic handling in the future. Please be cautious of the WindMult parameter, tho. Your Cuban 800 handling had this set to 7.15 - something and it caused abhorant behaviour, rotating the aricradft like a bayblade, making it unable to fly, etc. I set it to 1.4 and the bugs went away.
@DirtSpray Absolutely astonishing! I've played with that value for so long, never knowing the full extent of what that did or even linking it to that strange behavior! I'll update the cuban8 so that it's 'regular' again thanks to you (i'll also give you credit). Lastly, I'm working on a server that adds missions and collaboration to flying called "All things flight" in fiveM - if you're a single player guy, noooo big deal either way, but glad to have helped you discover a passion for the skies <3 - it's literally ALL I've ever wanted to do!
@Wetter42 Hah, thank you! Yes, I'm a singleplayer guy, cuz I heavily dislike the standard Online mode, however, I have been wanting to try FiveM.
