This mod comprehensively hides wanted stars from your hud, hides police blips, silences police audio chatter from the scanner (as well as the radio bark), silences wanted music in missions and in regular play, and hides the flashing red and blue lights from your minimap when cops can see you.

INSTALLATION:
1. Install GTA V.
2. Install Script Hook V, Community script hook, and OpenIV.
3. Download the zip on this page and open it...somewhere. Just not in your game.
4. Drop the cs file into your 'scripts' folder. If you don't have a scripts folder, ask for help.
5. open OpenIV in edit mode and navigate to update/update.rpf/common/data/ui
6. drag hudcolor.dat in.
7. A side effect of the hudcolor (whose sole purpose is to disable the red and blue flashing lights on the minimap) is that you can't see your armor bar. Be okay with this.
8. go to x64b.rpf/data/cdimages/scaleforem_minimap.rpf and drop minimap.ytd in.
9. All done!

@sob This is irrelevant, but could you make it possible to record video on a character's phone?
Is fixing armor color and text even possible? I do love this script but it can be annoying to use a trainer at night with it having black text.
Update: I've shifted focus from treating this like a full time job for a month (from nothing to here in five-six weeks has been pretty cool, and I taught myself C# with plenty of help from cool people). The next hurdle for this mod's scope is a bigger project than I care to push forward with alone-- I'm stepping out to rest and concentrate on other interesting creative things. The keys to this project are given to the head of the gta realism team, m________. However, ANYONE of the community may use ANY of the code I have produced-- it's simple stuff really. Use the CS files, adapt them, and so on. Eventually I will return, under the same name.
This package contains:
a gameplay mod to make GTA 5 hugely difficult.

@D33r Fixing the armor color and text would come at the expense of knowing that the police are after you; unless we find a native function the answer is no unfortunately

@sob Can I add a option into your script to disable music that plays while flying? Kinda like how you can disable the wanted music in this. Would it work and what would it be called? Add a option like FlyingMusicDisabled or something?
