This mod expands the maximum value of a siren setting ID in carcols to 65535. Previously, two siren settings with different IDs could still conflict with each other if their IDs were above 255. Now they don't.
This mod also expands the maximum number of unique siren settings you can have. If you have 400 cars, and they all have unique light patterns, that'll work.
INSTALLATION:
Copy the contents of "Grand Theft Auto V" to your game folder. If you use RAGEPluginHook, make sure to copy the Plugins folder as well.
USAGE:
Just use a number bigger than "255" as a siren setting ID. The values 0, 255, and 65535 are reserved, so don't use those 3 specific values. No additional configuration is required.

This ASI produces a SirenSettings.log file in your game directory. The log file records:

@zielak123 im having that same issue when i just updated gta, idk what happened but i hope this mod gets updated soon
[UPDATE] it's most likely because openiv needed to have the gta folder to be set with admin perms first then you should not have the issue anymore

GUYZ, PLEASE READ MY COMMENT BEFORE DOING ANYTHING AND SAYING THAT THIS NEEDS AN UPDATE! INSTALL PACKFILE LIMIT ADJUSTER AND HEAP ADJUSTER IN YOUR GTA 5. THEN, INCREASE THE HEAP AMOUNT TO AT LEAST 3000 IN YOUR HEAP ADJUSTER.INI (2000 WILL NOT WORK!!)! THEN INSTALL SIRENSETTING LIMIT ADJUSTER. NOW YOU SHOULD NOT FACE ANY CRASHES!! THIS METHOD WORKS FINE AND I HAVE PLAYED MY GAME WITH THIS METHOD FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS CONSTANT IN EVERY WEATHER CONDITIONS AND MY GAME RUNS FINE!! AND YES, I HAVE PLENTY OF SCRIPTS AND OTHER MODS INSTALLED LIKE FORESTS OF SA, SANDY SHORES, SOME ADDON CARS, REDUX GRAPHICS MOD, ETC! @allenpan I did this and my game ran smoothly, but I realized that this is not gonna work with Dispatchworks extended. LOL. So I removed this one. Definitely this one needs an update
I'm pretty sure it depends on the packs your using. If your using Large Car Packs such as VWE or DWE, their made to work with each other. If you install Small Car Packs such as 11john11's LSPD Pack and/or Jacobmaate SAHP Pack, than SirenSetting Limit Adjuster will be required. This is just based on my experience with this and other mods.
how do i use this
i use this but many vehicles doesn't work for me. and the log file doesn't warn me about conflict for the siren that doesn't work. so if we consider the upper limit of usable ids (65535), i reasonably think that it is quite impossible that 2 ids conflicts each other. just for this reason i can't understand what's wrong with my carcols. many siren works but many other not. and no one are equal to another.. i would understand how to choose the ids, what ids are really read by tha file. and what means internal index?
The game crashes everytime I load it up with this mod

I'm getting a unrecoverable fault error with this file
@ashry1599 The mod hasn't been updated for 2 years it wont be able to support any of the vehicles.
@Stauffer21 can i still use this mod if a pack says its required or is there an alternative
@ZenitharMaximus I'm not very familiar with packs requiring it but I do know that certain packs interfere with other packs causing lighting to go to crap but I still am trying to figure out how I could fix my lighting on my vehicles. Hope that helps.
