I do wish the mod author would release the source code so other people could update it. This mod could be even more awesome, but sadly, I don't think the creator is here anymore. I would like to be able to configure the zombies, like their health, damage, add new types of special zombies, like some from the Undead Nightmare expansion. I like this mod a lot though, it is indeed a simple zombies mod. It works. Still, it could be even better

@Ramtha Petallar You'd have to edit the animations, which is what I did. I made a mod which replaces the slow walk with running animations. It works with this mod. Link: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/fast-zombies-for-simple-zombies

It'd be cool if you added a feature to pick up physics objects like you can in Half-Life 2. I don't know how hard or easy this would be for you to code, but it would definitely make the mod more awesome

If this crashes for you, just change all the forward slashes in the dlclist.xml file into backwards slashes. Example: \spflamethower\

Next version I'll fix the pain sounds not working.

I'd pair this with Liberty City Vehicle & Ped Pack and edit the dispatch.meta file so that they spawn during wanted levels. Maybe a Liberty City map mod as well.

@ollyolly Most of those are already reused from GTA IV, I'm afraid.

I forgot to replace the "COVER YOU" police lines so they still use the GTA V dialogue. I am working on a fix for that now.
