Handling Fix for Game68240's Porsche Cayman S 718
PS: These settings were made for the Add-On Version Only!
Since the car in real life is actually a 4 cylinder I have included a 4 cylinder sound from the Ocelot Lynx which is as close to the real life car as I could get.
But not a lot of people like the 4 cylinder sound so I added the 6 cylinder sound as well.
I also added a traction control on or off option for those who prefer the traction control off.
I made this handling as close to the real life car as I could get.
How to install:
- Choose which sound you want (4 or 6 cylinder)
- Choose if you want traction control On or Off
- Paste the files in:
Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\718caymans\dlc.rpf\data
(USING OPENIV)
- Close OpenIV and enjoy

@chang63 I did, it did not sound right. The Lynx was the closest sounding to the real life engine/exhaust sound

@yazan I don't make models, but in general ZModeler 3 is used to make car models

@BlueJeansGamer yeah I know what you mean, the 718 does have a higher pitch than the WRX, so it makes more sense to use lynx in this situation, but the lynx still sounds more V8-ish to me on my audio setup lol

How do you install this for replace please ?
@ZenoxX The easiest is just to install the car as an add-on. but if you insist on using the car as a replace then you will have to copy the handling code from the files I provide and paste and replace the code of the comet2 handling located at \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data (handling.meta file). Be sure to copy the code correctly otherwise your game will crash. Good luck

@BlueJeansGamer Holy crap, dude. Driving.. um drifting this car with traction control off is alot of fun. This is the most realistic and interesting handling that i've ever used.

@VentoGent_ZA Im glad you are enjoying this handling mod. will probably make a few more in the future but only for cars that have a real issue for example the inverted suspension
Please make a version for the replaced car.
Please take my spycy comment not that serious, but you took a not that good handling car and turned it intro a bad handling car. The 2019 Porsche 911 (992) Carrera S / Targa S by Scott_Carter has the most real to life handling of a real Porsche. Real Porsches have really stable steering guys, not all over the place. I hope i wasn't rude. I love the 718, but the steering on all of them is horible... A real basic 718 steers just like a 911. If you can make that happen, you're a legend!
