I made it because i needed a working gameconfig as soon as possible.
Installation through OpenIV:
Mods > update > update.rpf > common > data
Drag and drop the gameconfig.xml file into the data folder and you're good to go.

I'm sorry that this gameconfig is not working for a lot of you, but I really can't do anything about it. But here's some information that I learned:
- It probably won't work for LSPDFR. Use this instead: https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/datafile/40478-gameconfig-file-for-gta-v-update-v2699/
- It makes the game crash or gives an infinite loading screen with some mods because for some reason they are incompatible.

@Raven_104899 Try updating heap adjuster and pack file limit adjuster.

Hi! i got a problem. after installing the new gameconfig and the heap adjuster and pack file limiter. whenever i go near franklins house or just change the character the game crash. any fix on this? please help.
the thing that worked for me is going into mods/update and delete update2.rpf then go to the same path outside of mods folder and add it back into mods folder. also using this gameconfig

@nathan318 I tried all the fixes that have been mentioned and this fixed it for me. Thank you! Anyone else having the infinite loading problems try @nathan318 solution.
