@The_Stranger Use the simple trainer ini config that comes with rde (in the optional addons folder). Beyond that, not sure how I'd know what's causing problems with whatever you've done to your own simple trainer config. Sounds like something you should be reporting on the simple trainer page since that's apparently the problem here.

@Mrkai721 So you aren't having crashes, but you're asking us to fix a crash that other people are apparently having, which is likely due to other mods that they're running. Alright then.
@Mrkai721 Download is clean, don't know what you're talking about there. As for the crashing, need more information. How many stars are you losing when you crash? Does the crash happen right as you lose the stars? Are you using other mods alongside RDE? Are you using SHVDN nightly? And are you using the PEV addon?
Because I just tested it myself, and encountered no crashing with both the standard version and with the PEV addon.
@JonasTechnik I tested it with an otherwise vanilla setup. I think it's maybe more dependent on whether you're in combat. Tested again just now, it worked ok when I was hidden from the cops, but when they spotted and were shooting at me, I could no longer turn off the engine.

So I'm curious, what's the purpose of the original stipple texture to begin with? Surely it had to have some sort of benefit for Rockstar to use it.
