Hey guys I was struggling getting a standalone dark nights for a while as I noticed a lot of realistic ones were in huge mod packages. @Slash_Alex gave some info in the VisualV comments section in what to edit in the weather files and even shared his weather files which give an amazing dark ass night. Simply paste these [https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Z-AI5pNXS9CCj1D98lV1kqSokqBksjQR?usp=sharing] files into mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/timecycles and wallah, dark ass nights!
@Slash_Alex sir I cannot thank you enough I have been scavenging multiple shaders to get darker nights and was about to give up until I saw your comment. Thanks for leaving that google drive file up, I also ran into a lot of other people not being able to make their game dark so is it cool if I link your files or reupload them on https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/darker-nights-gta-v, since I think what you provided blows that mod out of the water.
